Nate’s little brother and hippie dad depend on him for literally everything, but the well-meaning, small time pot dealer Nate wants nothing more than to run away with Nikki, the love of his life, and get out of Texas. When Nate’s boss asks him to baby sit a million dollars of hash, Nate finally sees his way out. But as we know, sometimes things have a habit of never going right -- the hash goes missing-- and now Nate must protect his loved ones from the cold blooded drug-runner who wants his product back. Created through the University of Texas Film Institute, a new model for film education, director Dolan delivers an impressive debut with a story of honor and loyalty from a well-written script, combined with a defining performance by Gabriel Luna as Nate.
