Steve Jones (David Duchovny), his wife, Kate (Demi Moore), and their two children move into an affluent suburb. All four soon insinuate their way into the community. Despite the Joneses' apparent success, the fissures in their family begin to show. And when an outright catastrophe occurs with the neighbors they are forced to make choices about their priorities.
